Ninja Monkey

Ninja Monkeys is an exciting and dynamic program for ages 5-18. It combines the finesse and athleticism of martial arts with the acrobatic nature of gymnastics. It involves a series of skills and ‘tricking’ from which an athlete gets from one place to another. Ninja sleeves will be used to track progress. Learn more about them here.

Tiny Ninjas: Intro Level

  • Swinging: Bat Hang, Front Support, Rope Swing
  • Flipping: Donkey Kicks, Tick Tocks, Penguin Jumps
  • Rolling: Lever Roll, Turtle Roll, Sit/Rock/Stand
  • Running: Booty Vault, Safety Stick, Cat Pounce
  • Growing: Plank Holds (10s), Squats (5), Bat Hangs (5s) 

Beginning Ninjas: Level 1

  • Swinging: Bar Flips, Monkey Bars, Cannonballs
  • Flipping: Lever Kick, Butterfly, Jumping Shapes
  • Rolling: Ninja Roll (front), Turtle Roll (side), Backwards Roll
  • Running: Safety Vault, Precision Stick, Wall Run/Jump
  • Growing: Plank Hold (10s), Squats (10), Bat Hang (10s)

Mighty Ninjas: Level 2

  • Swinging: Above Bar Flips, Swinging Bars, Ring Transfer
  • Flipping: Cartwheel, Handstand, Flipping Shapes
  • Rolling: Lever Kick Roll, Dive Roll, Shoulder Roll
  • Running: Speed Vault, Reverse Vault, Lazy Vault
  • Growing: Pushups (5), Box Jumps (10), Chin Hold (10s)

Mega Ninjas: Level 3

  • Swinging: Ninja Holds, Bar On/Off, Lache 5+Ft
  • Flipping: Round Off, Handstand Walking, Front Flip
  • Rolling: Tree Pose on Bosu, Broken Bridge, Pipe Rolling
  • Running: Kong Vault, Dash Vault, Combo Vaults
  • Growing: V-ups (5), Half Pistol Squats (5), Chin Ups (5)

Master Ninjas: Level 4

  • Swinging: Kong Over Bar, Switch Grip Ladder, Linked Laches
  • Flipping: Handsprings, Back Flip, Aerial/Side Flip
  • Rolling: Backward Push Up, 360* Dive Roll, Arabian Roll
  • Running: Wall Spin, Palm Spin, Wall Flip
  • Growing: Leg Lifts (5), Full Pistol Squat
